Get Rid Of Razor Bumps

Razor bumps occur when your blade is not sharp enough.

Use a shaving cream for sensitive skin. I used to get them before i started using Edge Gel for Sensitive Skin. Works like a charm.

You also may be shaving the wrong way. I shave down on my face and up on my neck. I no longer get any razor bumps.

I’m a girl, but after years of being responsible for keeping my Dad’s beard in check, I know. Shave after getting out of a warm steamy shower, and stay in the bathroom. The steam will open up your pores and allow for a closer, gentler shave. Use shaving cream, every time. Always shave in the direction the hair grows, that’s the main problem for razor bumps. Then slather on a scentless, calming daily moisturizer with SPF right away and let it soak in. It may not sound manly, but Aveeno Ultra-Calming Daily Moisturizer is really good.

Since it sounds like you already hacked your face off, use a warm wet washcloth (leave it sitting on the bad spot for a few minutes) to open your pores back up and use a good unscented moisturizer.
